The situation
More than half of Swiss SMEs already use AI, but in 60% of cases in a basic way, and often without management knowing what leaves the company. In an accounting firm or a practice, a client file pasted into a free assistant is a data leak, not a productivity gain. The question is not "should we use AI", it is "which one, for what, with which data".
What we do
- One-page AI policy: which data never leaves, which tools are allowed, who approves what. Written with you, readable by everyone, signed by the team.
- Tool selection by use: when a Swiss or European tool holds up (Infomaniak AI, Mistral, open models), we recommend it. When a US tool is unavoidable, we configure its business edition: no training on your data, limited retention, chosen data residency.
- Workshops by role, not "ChatGPT for everyone": the medical secretariat, the accounting firm at closing time, the law office that drafts, the NGO answering calls for proposals. Each workshop starts from a real workflow and measures the time saved.
- Light automation on an identified workflow, with a human check at every step that commits the organisation.
The legal frame, in three lines
Swiss data-protection law applies to any personal data you process, whatever the tool. Switzerland will have no AI law before 2028. If you serve clients in the European Union, part of the EU AI Act applies since August 2026; in that case we work with your legal adviser.

Should we ban ChatGPT?
Banning it does not work: people use it on their phones. Framing it works: say what may go in, provide an approved tool that does the job, and show the gains on a real file. That is what the policy does.
Which tools do you recommend?
It depends on your data and your uses. For general use with sensitive data, a tool hosted in Switzerland or Europe; for advanced drafting and analysis, a US tool in a properly configured business edition. We are tied to no vendor.
How long before we see a gain?
The first workshop produces a measurable gain the same day on the chosen workflow, typically one to three hours a week per person on drafting, summarising or data entry. The rest is a matter of habit, hence a one-month follow-up.
