Independent professionals: everything rests on one laptop and one password
Doctor, lawyer, psychologist, architect, therapist, alone or up to five. Half a day is enough to stop depending on luck.
Your situation
You carry professional secrecy with the means of a private individual: a laptop, a consumer mail account, an external drive bought one day and never plugged in again. You have neither the time nor the wish to become an IT person, and the providers you call want to sell you a maintenance contract. What you need fits in half a day and a short list.
Risks specific to you
- One mail address, one password, no two-factor authentication: one successful phishing and everything is open.
- Patient or client files on a laptop never backed up, or on a US cloud.
- Invoicing software whose backup has never been tested.
- Consultation notes dictated to a free AI assistant.
What we do
A half-day session, on site or by video: two-factor authentication and a password manager, encrypted Swiss mail, automatic backup tested in front of you, laptop encryption, and a one-page AI policy with a tool that retains nothing. You leave with a one-page sheet: what to do if the laptop is stolen, if a mail looks suspicious, if a patient asks for their data.

Frequently asked questions
Is half a day really enough?
For a practice of one to five people, yes, if we stick to what matters: access, backup, mail, AI. The rest, website, practice software, hardware, gets written recommendations, not a project.
I am not comfortable with technology.
That is exactly who this is for. Everything is done with you, explained in plain language, and summarised on a one-page sheet. You will have nothing to administer afterwards.
Do you also do repairs and support?
No. We set things up and advise; for day-to-day support we point you to a local provider, and we check once a year that they do what is needed.
