An IT director, one or two days a month

Your workflows mapped, a CRM sized for you, one person to arbitrate your suppliers.

Why an outsourced CIO

Between 10 and 50 people, an organisation has too much IT to leave to chance and not enough to employ someone to run it. The result is what we see every week: tools bought on impulse, a supplier deciding alone, data entered twice, and a director who discovers the invoices. An outsourced CIO is that leadership, without the salary.

What we do

  • Workflow mapping: who does what, with which tool, where it jams, where things are re-typed. A one-page diagram everyone understands, and the list of the three things to change first.
  • A CRM sized for you: selection, configuration, data migration, training. We have rolled out and replaced CRMs tying booking, customer relations and invoicing together; we know what is still in use six months later and what is not.
  • Management dashboard: the five numbers that matter, kept up to date without effort.
  • Outsourced CIO subscription: one or two days a month. Quarterly IT committee, supplier arbitration and follow-up, security watch, annual budget, one point of contact for the team and for you.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from our managed-services provider?

They run things and fix things; that is their job and they should keep doing it. They also sell licences and hardware, so they cannot be neutral about what to buy. We sit on your side of the table: we decide with you what to ask them, and we check what they deliver.

Is one day a month enough?

For an organisation of 10 to 30 people with no heavy project under way, yes: leadership work is made of decisions, not hours. During a migration or a CRM rollout we go to two days, then back down.

What happens if we stop?

You keep everything: the map, the budget, the procedures, the documented access. Everything we do is written so that someone else can pick it up. That is the difference between a CIO and a dependency.
